Pies Plus was inspired by a tradition of family and friends sharing wonderful recipes.  As a child I enjoyed the challenge of learning to bake and the joy in giving tasty treats to others.  Then as a mother and full time homemaker it was simply fun to create special times for my children - birthday parties, school treats, holiday meals, and the aroma of fresh baked bread for an after school snack.  Through Pies Plus I am continuing the heritage of baking "From Treasured Home Recipes" and providing to my customers baked goods reminiscent of years gone by.  ~~Jan

Pies Plus products

  • All fruit pies are made with only fresh or frozen fruit.

  • Whipped cream topping is the real old fashioned kind

  • Other baked goods available upon request.

 Every month we order two pies from Pies Plus for our monthly Board of Directors meeting.  The directors thoroughly enjoy the pies that we order each month.  In fact, we hope that there is a piece left for us to eat the next day, but normally the pie tins are empty.  We have also ordered cakes and breads, which they also enjoy.

Our family is a big fan of "Pies Plus".  We love everything she bakes be it rolls, buns, chocolate cupcakes or breads.  But one of our favorites and is a request of my family when we are all together is her Raspberry Glaze Pie.  We think it is the utmost in eating!

Jan Mobley, of Pies Plus fame here in Lake Preston, can do wonders with a brunch for your special occasion.  When Pies Plus was asked to provide a brunch for our school staff during an in-service, we had no idea what a treat that would be.  Jan had thought of everything, down to the last detail.  It was not the ordinary fare of rolls and coffee, but a feast presented very elegantly.  From the glass dishes, to the doilies, to the specially decorated apple-shaped cookies, she had thought of everything.  There were so many varieties of scrumptious goodies that our only regret was that we didn't have the opportunity to taste everything!  Having a brunch provided by Pies Plus made everyone feel very special!
